Ahhh - Short Email!

Dear Familia & Friends,

Sorry not a lot of time, short email for the week of random notes from different days.

May 24
Joanna & sweet scripture study of 1nep8
Daniel 1 wow/faith from small things=great
Getting a new companion, gasp! It's my past one of my favorite companions Sister Beck!!!!!! Wooooooootttt woot! Found out after the transfer call, they called us saying we don't need to go to the transfer meeting because it'll save more time & be convenient for her just to meet up with us! Soooo excited :)

May 23
Grateful for safety fair women & two daughters

May 22
Grateful for Marvin who called my name in Taco Bell, "Sister Bush, are you from the Salt Lake valley?" Really came in good timing of comfort for me. Marvin helped bring hope for me that God does need me in this area & that He needs me to finish up my mission. Just a tad hard at times. It was a cherished small thing I was grateful for.

May 21
Wow just came from amazing appointment with brother Ben Estes & met his sweet wife Kate. Wow that appointment was healing/ freeing! My spirit & body are free!!!! I want to keep the spirit of God in my heart always. Chiropractor was very healing.

That day was powerful district meeting as we all sat on the ground with candles & watched the last super bible video & bore testimonies after. My heart needed that & realized the Atonement was healing me & God had me transferred to this area, one of the reasons was to meet the Estes's, they helped in this process of healing.
Naples / Vanderbilt District Meeting
You always work on your whole life on keeping the spirit with you. Listen to it, personal revelation.
Work in keeping the spirit with you ALWAYS! It is up to you if you.

What does Christ mean to you?
Christ is Love, He is my friend, my brother, my protector, my life, my connector to God, my joy, my happiness, my all. With Him I am everything, I am healed, I am whole, I am complete, I am loved, I am found & I am home. Christ is love, Christ is home. It all works out. He is peace, comfort, counselor, strength, rest, Atonement, beginning & end, eternity. He is I AM. And I am Because of Him.

Much love,

Sister Bush

P.S. Oh I had to go to a chiropractor this week because I've been in pain my whole mission, it worked out great because the chiropractor is from Utah & he sees missionaries for free, he is actually moving back to Utah & is awesome!!! Tender mercy from The Lord & I am doing so much better.

Welcome to Vanderbuilt Beach!

Dear Familia & Friends,

Welcome to Vanderbuilt Beach B area/ Naples! I am now down south, at the bottom & farthest you can go in our mission. Woot, I have been in the middle, up to the farthest North & now South in our mission, yeeha! So Vanderbuilt/Naples is fancy smanchy, a lot of rich people but luckily there are areas that exist that are a little bit more humble thank heavens.

I realized I didn't really explain why a random transfer so quick & early before transfers. One of the Temple square missionaries was going back to Salt Lake & they rearranged the Odessa area because there are a lot of missionaries more then work in that area. Soooo Sister Trabatich became companions with my companion fantastic Sister Kenagy, sniffle I love her so much! And I am now serving in a trio again! ha ha! This will be my 4th trio, woot woot! My companionarors are
Sister Yardley & Sister Hanna who are both from Utah & Sister Yardley is finishing her mission & is going home in 1 week/a couple of days, she really doesn't want to go home, she loves being a missionary & it's sweet to see such dedication.  I love the mission but I can't wait to come home & apply everything I have learned on my mission. Members don't realize the many advantages they have being member missionaries.

I do have to say that I take it back that my last trio was the best trio because THIS trio is the BEST trio I have EVER been in. Sister Yardley & Hanna are a delight & their sense of humor is kind, they don't put each other down, there teasing is loving & fun & I like it a lot. I feel like I am around my very own sisters from home with them & that is a comfort. I am touched by Sister Yardley's pure spirit, I feel like from her sweetness she could get anything she wants just by saying please but she doesn't use that to her advantage - ha ha. Sister Hanna is a hoot & is super clever & she pulls the funniest faces & reactions. Oh my heart I love these two Sister & feel like I have known them for a lot longer then just 5 days.  Sister Hanna said it felt like we had been serving together for 5 years already.

Oh my new address is...

7779 Jewel Lane # 101
Naples FL 34109

I learned after visiting a certain prominent ward member (who we were trying to inspire to hasten the work) to always want to put God first & have my happiness dependent upon Him. It was a very disheartening experience from the minute she allowed us to come in her home. We started with a prayer & proceeded forward with a spirit guided message & I asked her about her conversion story which she gladly told & you know what the funniest thing about her conversion story? It was all because a stake president invited the missionaries to be at a funeral to share a thought & introduced her mom to them. If that stake president had not invited the missionaries then her mom wouldn't have had the chance to meet the missionaries, learn the gospel & be baptized. I was amazed that she didn't put the two together herself & after all 3 of us had that distinct impression not to point it out to her because this member would have gotten mad. Anywho I learned a lot in that frustrating experience. I also learned to Never allow wealth to be a distraction from doing the right thing that God would have you do. It seemed to me that some people are to caught up in their wealth & reputation among their friends rather the putting the gospel first. If I am ever rich I am not going to waste money on pointless things, use it for good, for traveling, for the things that count like giving to the church & others. Sister Yardley had a nice thought that if she was ever rich she would never let her children know. :) I also learned & was reminded of that quote from an apostle who said if you are too busy for God then you are more busy then He ever intended you to be. I hope to always out God first & my loved ones, success & work is pointless if we are neglecting the ones we love because of it. Think about it what is that reputation going to do for an individual in the life to come, God will ask us if we tried to live as Christ live, are we?

At dinner later that day Sister Hanna was reading a motivational card she carries with her with awesome quotes for her to read when it gets tough oh by the way Sister Hanna has been out 4 months but she seems like she has been out 8 months, I am so impressed with her! One thing I liked from Sister Hanna's motivation card, "Lord...thou knowest that I love thee" To which Jesus responded (and here again I acknowledge my nonscriptural elaboration) perhaps saying something like: "Then (sister bush) why are you here? Why are we back on this same shore, by these same nets having this same conversation? Wasn't it obvious then and isn't it obvious now that if I want fish, I
can get fish? What I need (sister bush) are disciples - and I need them forever. I need someone to feed my sheep and save my lambs. I need someone to preach my gospel and defend my faith. I need someone who loves me truly, truly loves me, and loves what our Father in Heaven has commissioned me to do. Ours is not a feeble message. It is not a fleeting task. It is not hapless; it is not hopeless, it is not to be consigned to the ash heap of history. It is the worth of Almighty God, and it is to change the world. So, (sister bush) for the second and presumably the last time, I am asking you to leave all of this and to go teach and testify, labor and serve loyally until the day in which they will do to you exactly what they did to me." ... The crowing characteristic of love is always loyalty." - The first great
commandment by Elder Holland

Amen amen amen to that quote!!! Love it :) and I shared it in ward counsel on Sunday!

Also in her card:
 Alma 26:27
I love poor people I can't stand prideful rich people.  Humble rich people are the best, but prideful - grrrrrrrr!  If I am ever rich I am NOT going to own a huge enormous pointless mansion, I'm actually going to use my money for good & for God. Ok I made that point already just re-emphasizing.

Another quote I liked from her card...
"We kick when we don't want to kick & we stroke when we don't want to stroke." -Olympic swimmers & how they are successful!

FAITH NOT FEAR PEOPLE!!!!!!!!! So trust & go & do for crying out loud. The message has always been in the same from the beginning of time, God's love is real & it is needed for everyone.

Oh fun random fact in Preach My Gospel, apparently there is only one exclamation mark & it is found in, "How great is your calling!" Only explanation point or at least that is what Sister Hanna was told in the MTC, so keep your eyes open but I am pretty sure she is right.

So my companions & I had a fantastic study on word of wisdom, D&C 89! It only requires 5 main points the other things are on a individual level of what we decide :) The word of wisdom is a test of our faith & love on how loving we are towards others decisions, we can be more strict on the specific on our own but let others decide on more personal decisions like caffeine or not. Sister Yardley told the funniest story, her dad is a police officer & one of his friends was a security guard for President Dieter F. Uchtdorf & they were flying somewhere. On the flight President Uchtdorf had a diet coke & he took a permanent marker & wrote the letters e, r after diet & turned to the guard & said,"look Dieter coke." Bwah ha ha ha I love it!

It has only been a few days but we have been very blessed in our trio! I have enjoyed it immensely even though it was hard to leave Sarasota (yeeha I cried a lot) it has been really neat to feel it confirmed that Vanderbuilt beach is where I am suppose to be. Sister Hanna & Yardley have said that a lot, that they both feel I was suppose to come here even though it was a random early transfer they feel that how everything happened it was meant to happen. Aww, I am so grateful for them & it's been nice to how open we all are & I love that there is such a good trust, open communication & unity between us all. It has only improved. Sometimes in companionship's you go through "honey moon" stages that last the 1st to 3rd or so days. You can tell if it's going to be good or not if you continue to improve together in a short period of time even on grumpy days, if you handle that well & continue progressing, woot you know it's going to be good. I am happy to say this trio is really good it is more then good! 4 Nephi 1:15 I know it's the love of God that is in this trio & no contention because of that love. woooooottttt woot!

We have a lot of solid investigators & we set 2 baptism dates this week & will be setting a 3rd one with our investigator Joanna. Earlier this week we went to see her & her boyfriend, Marcos, answered the door & said she was sick & to come back later. We started walking back to the church & we got a phone call from Joanna, she told us she would love to see us & that she was just tired but she wanted us to come back! We did & had an awesome lesson 2 about the plan of salvation & she loved it. She wants her baby Leo & her boyfriend Marcos together forever & she wants her best friend to take the lessons & learn the
gospel too. We told her to pray about it & invite Marcos to pray about
it.
We received an awesome text last night from her & woot she knows the church is true!!!! She got an answer to her prayer & Christ's example & be baptized. I love it because she didn't have anything dramatic happen, she just recognized it was an answer to her prayer :D Her text said that she had been praying how to help her boyfriend be more open to learning about the church & how she was going to do that. She was talking to her friend & somehow she found out her friend's mom is a regular at church I the Spanish ward. Her friend had nothing but good to say about the church even though her friend isn't a member. She was so cute & asked us if she & her friend can come to church this Sunday, well of course!!!

Our ward is trying out a thing called "white night," President Newsome from the Spanish ward had suggested for the Hermanas & we are going to give it a go. It is where you set all of your baptisms for one night & have a huge group baptism. It was sweet to see earlier this week from the Hermana's group of about 5 people. We have prayed & our date is June 28th feel free to pray with us that we will find those who are ready for this date & that those who have committed will be able to
stay committed to the waters of baptism!!!! Jasmine Smith, Chilene Dumas, & soon Joanna Pierre :) are our investigators with baptismal dates. Oh & I guess our will be a white morning/ day because we are holding the baptisms at 11am, it works better for our ward members & those with little ones.

So Jasmine Smith is about 18 & she is a delight, she is this awesome sassy girl & she cracks me up. She is smart & her insights are lead by the spirit, I am excited for her & just hope her mother's heart will soften about it all & she'll come to learn too.

Ok this email is very long, I'll have to write about our many other investigators next time like Victoria, Sarah, & Tiah & April & Chris & holy cow we have been blessed with a lot of people!

Oh funny quote real quick from this week. We were at a gas station & we were walking back to the car & this drunk or high guy said a crude thing to me & once I & my companions were in the car we were joking about the things we would say if we weren't missionaries back to that man. One of the cheesy things was, "God will Smite you!" And then Sister Hanna said, "And I'm His messenger!" As she then pretended to punch him, oh man we had a good laugh. Wouldn't that be a fantastic line to have in a play or movie? lol, oh my lanta, too fantastic!

Oh other hilarious quote of the week, we were walking to an apartment that one of our less actives live & there was music blasting with one of my favorite songs & I asked..."What is that place? Is that a park or something?"- Sister Bush. "We call that Babylon."- Sister Hanna. Oh man I love my companions.

So one last thought I promise...
I had to learn in that experience with that member that was frustrating to love her regardless of the choices she was making to not help us with missionary work, I had to love because maybe that's where my faith was being tested, was I going to love even through the frustration, I think that's what I'm learning right now. Things will be unjust, people will not really understand but God does & God's love
will see us through at the end of the day. That what matters, we don't have to prove the feelings or confirmations from God that we get to other, we just have to be willing to share & then let others decide how they will choose.

It all comes down to which heaven are you willing to live? What will see you through your day? The love of God or the dependency on your own strengthen? I'd rather choose God's love & see the true joy that unfolds from that choice & decision.

I am grateful for God, for hymns like, "Be still my soul," I loved that hymn it really helped this week with all the fast transitions that have happened, I love my companions & I love the amazing ways God works. I love this gospel, I love our savior Jesus Christ, I love that His work is Hastening. I have a deep appreciation for everything going on right now, yeeha!

Much Love,

Sister Bush

Happy Mother's Day!

Dear Familia & Friends,

Happy the day after Mother's Day even though we all know that Mother's Day is every day. :) (Technically Father's Day is too....) Well, here is an awesome web page promotion the church had been doing if any of you have had the chance to see it. It's a very sweet video, ya'll should take a chance to look at it when you can. It was really cool we had an app appear on our I-pads & then an email with instructions to share this with All of our investigators & members & anyone.

We had a good week this week, really good. Facebook is no longer in our mission because for some missionaries they were getting to distracted by it & not utilizing it for our purpose. Luckily Sister Kenagy & I were able to keep ours because it's needed for YSA & we are obedient. Some other missionaries were able to keep their's as well as long as they were obedient & what not. So there is that news. Ummm what else...David is getting baptized this Sunday. We have a lot of potential new investigators, that's going well. We have had fun pulling over the car & giving out cards to people we see walking down the street when we feel impressed to.  We drove back to a park where a kid was playing basketball & we played PIG with him, then showed him the "Because of Him" video. Props to Sister Kenagy who was inspired for that one. :) I really liked the comment Danny made in Sunday school, he said why we have the Priesthood is because that way we can do what God would do if He were here. Pretty cool.

Well sorry this is really short & lame promise it has been a really good week.  We had a successful music playing at new college & were looking forward to doing more but I'm getting transferred!  Haha! So yessum, more on that later.

I loved sykping with Mom & Dad & wish I could have with all of you but I'll see ya'll soon in 5 months! I am really going to miss Sister Kenagy, she has been amazing to serve with. Sniffle, I don't get to kill her off, aww man. Well I promise to send a better email next week & I love you all.

Much love,

Sister Bush

Keep Your Chin Up

Dear Familia & Friends,

It has been a hard week, every imperfection is thrown in my face on all the things I need to change & it hasn't helped that I had some scary experiences this week. Poor Sister Kenagy had a horrible migraine that lasted 5 days & she's still recovering from it but we're back on our feet working. So it wasn't a very work fulfilled week but it was good for me, Heavenly Father was teaching me how to breath & not get depressed or discouraged & I was reminded of His love.

Before I go on, parents please don't read this to the little ones I don't want them to be scared & I am keeping it simple because I don't want any of you to be scarred either.  Monday night I had a nightmare & in it an evil spirit wanted to kill me & was taking over one of my past investigators from my last area who I loved dearly to tell me they were going to kill me.

Not a fun dream, so Tuesday we went to institute & after we were talking to Sister Pincock the institute teacher & she is so inspired & was definitely in tune to the spirit because she shared a very sacred experience she had had once when she was doing family history & the
adversary was not happy with her & got uncomfortably personal with her. I'll have to ask her if I can share the dream experience she had because it is powerful. From her dream she realized how little power the adversary really has & he can't do the things they show in Hollywood but he wants to spook us in thinking that he can. There are angels so much stronger truly protecting us & Sister Pincock described how comical it is with the devil, she compared him to the small little dog that chases us & then a bigger dog/the Priesthood or angels come & the devil is like a scared little dog with it's tail in between it's legs running away. It's truly comical & the love of God is so much more powerful. Her words were very comforting to me & very interesting when she said, "I don't fear what they can do, I fear more about his temptations, discouragement, & the depression he sends more than fear." It really helped me & I shared my experience with her & she was awesome about it & said that the adversary really can't do anything but to feel better to get a priesthood blessing. We didn't have time that night but Wednesday night I got a priesthood blessing from Brother Behmer's & it was nice but unfortunately Wednesday night I had another nightmare. It was a creepy old lady & I won't go into details on that one & it stunk because I had the nightmare & was waking up in the middle of the night from it & my bed jerked. :( Not cool. And then I felt so strong & distinctly a finger poke my right shoulder. I am not lying or making it up & it sounds hilarious, but I thought Sister Kenagy had touched my shoulder but nope, she was sound asleep. Luckily it didn't scare me horribly bad & I was able to pray & fall back asleep & it was sweet because in my dream the Mo-tab choir was singing/blaring in my head, "How Firm A Foundation." I know that was God's way of comforting me & helping me remember the strengthen hymns really do have in warding off any bad spirit. That morning after working out as I was getting ready I was a little scared but I remembered the hymn & I was just singing away hymn after hymn while I was showering & getting ready & woot it worked!

I talked to Sister Kenagy about it & I got another Priesthood blessing from Brother Pincock after talking with him & Sister Pincock. It was powerful & I love their family sooooooo much!!!! She helped a ton because I was able to be reassured that I wasn't crazy because she has had the finger poke happen to her twice in her life & she said it is just the adversary's way of trying to intimidate, it's hilarious. All he can do is "poke" us like a Facebook poke? Ha ha! Anywho, so everything is good now & the blessing was cool. Oh & coolest thing, I told
Sister Pincock about "how firm a foundation," & she said that's the hymn that is Super significant to her & her experience that she had, she said to read the whole hymn & holy cow I did & wowza when I can tell you about her experience your jaws will all drop to the floor
with how significant that hymn is!!!! Stunning! Anywho, I love the Pincocks & I love the power of God.

Elder Holland's talk, "The First Great Commandment" from Oct 2012, on the remaining 11 apostles being left to teach the gospel after Christ left. Wow how little the church was & the apostles must have wondered what do we do now. Peter, do you love me? I need disciples. Did you love me? The Crowning characteristic of love is always loyalty. The call is to come & lend a faithful hand. A returned missionary is to be charged commissioned of Jesus Christ. We will never look back. What will we do this week to show Heavenly Father we love Him?

Blueberry Egos

Dear familia & friends,

Wow what an awesome miracle filled week!!! I have to start out with one from Saturday night. After dinner Sister Kenagy was calling & texting potential investigators & investigators that are the hardest to get a hold of :) One was Emily & miracle she answered! It just so "happened" to be a really good time for her & told us to come on over. I haven't had the chance to meet her yet, we've stopped by her place a couple of times this week & had no luck but woot woot finally we did! Emily is 25 & has had a hard life but she sincerely wants to find &
know truth. She had so many good questions & opened up to us a lot about her life. She is practically Mormon on many of her views, she likes modesty & her perspective on a lot of things are just spot on with what the gospel teaches. She is prepared!!! I can't wait for our next lesson. And Sister Kenagy was totally sent here for her, they have a lot in common & are both 25 & both have birthdays in March (ok not like that has anything to do with it, it's just cool ha ha). I love seeing why other missionaries are called specifically here, warm fuzzies.

We also had 3 investigators at church this Sunday & it was a break the fast after church so perfect opportunity for some fellowshipping! Love that! Our stake president was visiting, President Shipley & Sister Kenagy & I put on our YSA Facebook page that we were looking for some bongo drums. President Shipley rocks & he brought us a big bongo drum!!! Stay with me here folks, Sister Kenagy plays the bongo drums & we got permission from President & I'm going to play my violin while she drums at some college campus's as well as parks & where ever downtown in Sarasota & Bradenton. Our YSA rocks & they want to be involved too, they saw Sister Kenagy with the Bongo drum on her back & of course had to ask what was it that she had, wouldn't you? After she explained a
bunch of them wanted to help & not this Tuesday but next, they will be singing hymns while we play & handing out Mormon.orgcards/pamphlets. Best YSA branch EVER which we are building into a ward!!!

It's amazing what the power of fasting can do, the branch is getting more involved & better at fellowshipping.  There was so much love & kindness yesterday in church. The testimony meeting was really nice.  There is this awesome guy who just moved into the ward. His name is Elliot & he is so cool, he bore a very powerful testimony in church & after he came up to us to let us know when he is free & that is would love to help in anyway he can. I was so grateful & excited, what ward members just come up to missionaries & say here is when I'm available, I would love to come teaching with you guys & please let me help, oh & I have a car & would be happy to give rides for whoever needs one. Can we say a missionaries dream member come true?!?!!!!! What's a tender mercy & blessing from God, every missionary needs members to be more involved & it's just cool that we didn't say anything, he owed up to the covenants he's made with The Lord & is just doing what we should be doing. I really hope I am like that when I get back, again please hold me to my words that I am going to help the missionaries & the Lord's work when I return.

Ok other stories. David Nardeil will be baptized on Mother's Day, May 11th, happy early Mother's Day :) although I didn't do anything, this has been set from before I came to the area. Anywho, I am proud of him for putting up with us, he works on Sundays but every Sunday Sister K & I stay bold with him & are sure to let him know that he NEEDS to come to church & he does!!!! Keep him in your prayers, he is 23 or so & is nervous because of what his family will think. His mom doesn't know yet & he's working on telling her, she's
Catholic & isn't going to be very happy. So please keep him in your prayers to continue to have the courage to move forward with this.

Jose is progressing as well, he is finally reading the Book of Mormon & he came to church for the 1st time yesterday!!! He has been to institute 3 times now & really likes it & we think he liked church. We are hoping to set a date with him for June 7th. Hopefully sooner if he puts forth more effort.

Let's see we are teaching our relief society president's cousin. His name is Ivan & he is doing well, he came to church yesterday too & we're teaching plan of salvation this Tuesday, I can't wait for it!!! He said he would be baptized when he knows it's true. I'm hoping this lesson we can set a date, his cousin Arisbeth, she has such a strong testimony & bore a powerful one last time of being able to be reunited with her father that she has never met because he passed away not long after she was born. The spirit was really brought into the room as she testified of families.  It testifies to me how needed members are in this work because their experiences are needed & are powerful in this work & mean more to people because they're people. We have advantages & disadvantages as missionaries with our name tags, some people get the unrealistic idea that we are perfect so it's harder for them to connect to us, sometimes it helps more but just depends on the situation. Member's at lessons provide real people in a sense who can show they've lived life & are better because of the gospel. They are living proof & examples. So needed. We are all so needed & we are all to make it back to God & be in His kingdom. We are each needed or the Kingdom is not complete.

Other blessing for the week, we had exchanges on Thursday & I was super nervous because I was to stay in the area & Sister Kenagy was going to the other area. I just got here last week so Yessum it was a tad stressful not knowing the area or people extremely well yet but thank heavens for Sis K's gps. It was a huge blessing that all 7 lessons didn't fall through, it was a good day & we definitely saw God's hand in it. We were able to have 24 lessons this week, yay! Also mamas package came & that really brightened up my day too.

Oh by the way there is this awesome Amish food market place & restaurant close by called Yoders. :)  It is great & I love it!

Anywho, there is so much more that I haven't even gotten to, yikes!!!! I'll be more on top of it this week but basically I feel like I'm getting closer to the top of my mountain, I feel like I'm really enjoying the view & have gotten through a lot. I am just trying to find confidence in God's love & giving back that love in confidence of God. I am grateful for a deepened relationship with The Lord & the
courage He has in sometimes hurting us so they we can come to a deeper truth of His love & wisdom in knowing what's best for us in life the what we think is. His will is so much better & I love it! Everyone needs to go on a mission or find that mission God needs you to serve. For my sisters - being a mom is an honorable mission & follows the pattern Christ's mission. I am grateful for you.

Ah, I gotta hurry & write my email to President Cusick! I love you
all! much much loooovvvvvvvveeeeeeee!!!!!

Love,

Sister Bush

P.s. Everyone needs to read Elder Holland's talk missionary work & the
Atonement. Amazing!!!

Hello Sarasota!

Dear Familia and Friends,

So luckily the YSA Branch hasn't been as scary as I thought it would, this has been great! We cover the whole Sarasota Stake so our area is massive huge!!!

The first day was fantastic, I love Sister Kenagy, she has a lot of attributes of different family members so it's really fun & weirds me out at the same time, she reminds me a lot of Don Juan Gabedon. Anywho, first day together we had the miracle of in our first lesson of visiting a lesson active we got a new investigator. His friend Marisa who was there for the lesson just started opening up like none other and asking a ton of questions and she really just wants to know truth and she was so cute, she grabbed a note pad and pen and asked what does she need to do. It was so cool, we gave her the basics of the gospel of Jesus Christ and reschedule for when we could teach lesson 1. We saw her again on Saturday day and she loved it. Unfortunately she didn't come to church on Sunday but we are praying & hoping to teach her more this week and hopefully this Sunday she'll come.

So also from the first day we met with Jose another investigator and he cracks me up he calls Sister Kenagy Irish Smiles and he said I reminded him of a British person and then he called me Snow White. Ah, whatever floats your boat.

We had a really good lesson with a recent convert/ less activeish girl, Gabby. She isn't positive on the basics of her testimony, but really it's because of a stupid guy she is dating who she only is confused when she spends time with this fellow.Grrrr it is frustrating and can I just say I am so sorry family for when I dated a stupid fellow who gave everyone stress, I tell ya what it is hard being on the other end watching the problem but knowing they have to make the right decision, you can't force any one to choose the right, they've got to figure it out themselves. Anywho, Gabby does this cool thing were she writes her prayers to God because she has a hard time saying/speaking it out loud to him because she feels that she is talking to herself. She'll pray out loud with us but on her own she finds it feels more sincere when she writes it out. I think it's pretty sweet. We had a really good lesson & it's funny because she says she done't know if things are true yet she is thinking about serving a mission and is talking to the branch president about it....??? I know she knows it's true i just think the problem is her boyfriend, arggggg. Oh and it was really sweet, after the lesson, Sister Kenagy said she thinks that one of the reasons why I'm here in this area is because I'm needed for Gabby and to help her. She said she felt that strong in the lesson and after I felt it too. I felt a huge confirmation the first day I came to this area that this is where I'm suppose to be serving right now. It feels so good and I'm really thrilled to find and meet the other people I'm suppose to in this area. Anywho, cool miracle, Gabby texted us later that night and let us know that she has been looking for her patriarchal blessing and hasn't been able to find it. Guess where she found it? In a journal she was going to use for writing out her prayers. If that's not a confirmation that the church is true i don't know what is, sooooo coooollll!!!

Another nice blessing of this area is we get to go to institute because that's one of the things for YSA and we try to get our investigators to go. The teacher is amazing and I'm really grateful to God for how He answers prayers. I had been hoping to learn more gospel and bible stuff and this insitute teacher is also a history teacher and she always connects things from the bible and what not. I am so happy and grateful we get to attend. Another random blessing, I had been hoping to get more into shape, not saying I'm fat, I just wanted to be better working out wise and woot Sister Kenagy has the team beach body Insanity dvds. She has permission from President Cusick to have this work out dvd, well a lot of sisters have permission to, just poor elders don't.  Insanity has been awesome in the mornings and I drip sweat every morning, it is killer and woot I feel like I am finally getting muscles.

Anywhoville, I'm running out of time ok, sorry this email is short and there are so many more cool stories. I will have to write two long emails for next week.

Quick cool thought, the 5 things of the gospel of Jesus Christ all have one thing in common, They are Action - all things that are action/require to be acted. Love it.

Ahhhh ok, promise either later today I will send another email or next week on more things. Love you all so much!

So much Love,

Sister Bush
